DK6000 MULTI TESTER WEB PAGE DESCRIPTION The Dikai Multi Tester uses thermal conductivity to test for diamond. Moissanite (a manmade stone) has the same thermal conductivity as diamond and registers as diamond on diamond testers, and so for these the Multi Tester measures electrical conductivity. The Dikai Multi Tester is fitted with a UV light that can be used during a test to give more accurate readings on Moissanite (it excites the atoms and improves electrical conductivity). It can also be used to observe the fluorescence in diamonds for the purpose of colour-grading. The Dikai Multi Tester tests stones mounted in jewellery or loose stones and is fitted with a built-in metal alert letting you know if you accidentally touch the setting or stone holder, helping the user to eliminate false readings. The Dikai Multi Tester is fitted with an illuminating band around the probe which lights up in different colours to correspond with the test result, and with each colour it makes a different sound, allowing the user to see the result without having to watch the lights on the top of the tester. The Dikai Multi tester is fully automatic and requires no calibration by the user making it easy and simple to use. Powered by one standard 9v battery or an optional AC power supply (not included). Dikai Tools New Multi Tester has been developed using new advanced technology to give you the most accurate reading ever with ease of use! This new tester accurately measures the thermal conductivity of a gemstone to determine whether it is a diamond or a stimulant. The multi tester will also identify synthetic Moissanite which has a similar thermal conductivity to a diamond. It also comes equipped with a UV light mounted at the end of the testing probe; this can be used during a test to help excite the atoms in Moissanite to improve transmissions of electrical conductivity, thus allowing the user to test difficult stones. The UV light can also be used for checking the fluorescence in diamonds, this tester also has a built in metal alert to tell the user if they are accidently touching any metal parts therefore ensuring the user doesn’t make a false reading. It’s easy to use in either hand with the 360 degree illuminating testing probe, allowing you to see your testing result clearly. The tester is also equipped with full colour display and audio sound to help you distinguish your test result. This tester is fully automatic, requires no adjustment and is able to test under most conditions. The multi tester is powered by a 9v battery or an optional power supply can be used (not included). The tester comes with lose stone holding plate and leather case.
